2025-26 MINISTRY DETAILS & DATES

• Dancers ages 13 & up will go out into the community to bless others with the gift of dance.

• We will be preparing 1-3 dances beginning in October, and more information about the ministry event(s) to come.

• Dancers must be an MKS student or friend participating with an MKS student.  

• MKS Teen/Adult Students and Staff Members are invited to choreograph and/or dance in the dances.

• Those interested in creating a piece should fill out the choreographer interest form (this will be sent out to you if you express an interest on the interest form).

• There is no cost to participate in the ministry.  

• We will be creative about costuming - i.e. we may use items from home, a costume from a previous performance, etc.

• We dance to share joy, bring healing to the hurting, and whatever else God has in store for this ministry.

 

REHEARSAL INFO – All Rehearsals will be at MKS unless otherwise noted.

• Sat, Oct 18  3-4:30pm

• Sat, Nov 1  3-4:30pm

• Sat, Nov 15  3-4:30pm

• Sat, Dec 6  3-4:15pm

• Sat, Dec 20  3-4:15pm

• We will be able to determine if any additional rehearsal time is necessary by Nov/Dec. 

• In-Studio Dress Rehearsal for Dancers TBA @ MKS – Family & Friends Invited!

• Ministry Event(s) TBA - Praying for God's leading & provision!

• Jan-May – Additional and/or Dance Concert Rehearsals TBA

• June – Blessing Project dances will be spotlighted in the Dance Concert Shows TBA

– Participants must attend at least 75% of the rehearsals and/or 75% of the rehearsal hours in order to dance at the ministry event.  
– Practicing on your own time is required between rehearsals, and dancers are welcome to video choreography during rehearsal.
